On the 10th of July 1998, the movie was finally released under the banners of Interlight, Baldwin/ Cohen Productions, and Seagal/ Nasso Productions in Spain. However, with an estimated budget of 25 million US dollars, the movie flopped terribly as it could not resonate well with the audiences and such movies did not make sense now as they were nearing the beginning of the new era or the 21st century. After the film terribly failed to impress the audiences, Whitney gave up on acting as a career and chose to wander elsewhere.
