Nadine Bernecker is a popular Swiss film and television actress, singer, model, and internet celebrity. Her best role, in her entire career in the film industry, has been that of Angie in the 2004 adventure/ comedy/ mystery film WITHOUT A PADDLE, starring Matthew Lillard as Jerry Conlaine, Seth Green as Dan Mott, Dax Shepard as Tom Marshal, and Matthew Price as Young Tom. It was an enjoyable film about three friends deciding to fulfill their childhood dream by going on a camping expedition. After this film, she was deemed fit for the role of Queen Gorgo in the 2009 short comedy film 300 POUNDS: AN EPIC SPARTAN PARODY, written and directed by Jeff Centauri. This was the second time Nadine landed the role of a protagonist. She shared the screen with Jeff Centauri, Shaun Charney, Lou Klein, and David LeVera. This movie was released after the first 300 parody called MEET THE SPARTANS. However, the latter took the cake for being a better parody of the original Gerard Butler starrer film.
Nadine’s sister Melina Bernecker is also an actress. However, she has not yet earned as great a reputation as Nadine. Melina has only worked in one film till now and that film is AN ANGEL AT MY TABLE from 1990 where she played Myrtle. It was a critically acclaimed film that won nineteen major awards.
Nadine Bernecker was born in Switzerland and brought up in the south of Germany till she was eight. At the age of eight, she moved to New Zealand with her family. It was in the year 2000 that Nadine got introduced in movies and TV. She debuted as the T-Shirt Girl in the ‘E is for Exit’ episode of the drama/ crime series STREET LEGAL, starring Jay Laga’aia, Katherine Kennard, and Charles Mesure.
