Maithili Thakur is an Indian playback singer who is known for her original songs as well as her cover songs which she uploads on her YouTube channel. Maithili Thakur was born on the 25th of July 2000 in Benipatti, Madhubani district of Bihar into a Maithil Brahmin family. Her parents are music teachers working in Delhi and their names are Pandit Ramesh Thakur (father) and Bharti Thakur (mother).
Maithili gained popularity for her extremely melodious voice and her effortless singing. She is trained in Indian classical music and Indian Folk music. She has sung in multiple languages: Hindi, Maithili, Urdu, Marathi, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Tamil, English, and Indic languages. Maithili is most famous for her cover videos on YouTube where she sings famous songs and uploads them without mixing and editing the audio which shows the authenticity of her talent as a singer. Even though she uploads her raw cover videos, her singing is flawless and her talent is astounding. At such a young age, Maithili has established herself as one of the most talented artists of her generation.
