From 2003 to 2007, Mike went to the University of New Brunswick and graduated with a Bachelor of Science’s Degree in Zoology and Marine Biology. After volunteering at Operation Wallacea as a Marine Research Assistant from July to September 2007 he went on to volunteer at University of Havana, Cuba for Sea Turtle Nesting Site Surveying in July 2009. He started working as a Freelancer for BBC and became a Television presenter in 2017. He then started hosting a podcast at Wondery in 2021. Then, after beginning his work as a Television host at The Weather Channel from October 2021, Mike became a full time traveler and adventurer.
