Chris Gaines is a fictional persona of the American country music singer, songwriter, musician and media personality named Troyal Garth Brooks, popularly known as Garth Brooks. Garth had created the persona in order to venture into a musical style that was very different from his success and fame as a singer of country music. He had decided to feature this persona, Gaines, in a motion picture called The Lamb which, sadly, never happened. Nevertheless, this persona of his made quite the impact on the listeners and his album that he released as Chris Gaines produced two singles that charted Billboard, with \u201cLost In You\u201d even being listed in the Top 5 pop hits. The album was released in 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Master\u2019s Degree in Business Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Gaines, the fictional rock persona was supposed to be Garth\u2019s character in the movie The Lamb, which underwent development in 1999 with Brooks and his production company Red Strokes Entertainment and the famous Paramount Pictures. This resulted in the release of a Television movie\/ documentary, released on September 29th<\/sup> 1999, titles \u201cGarth Brooks\u2026In the Life of Chris Gaines.\u201d The film was directed by Jon Small and starred Garth Brooks as Chris Gaines, Chris McHugh as The Band, Light Rand as Tasha Simon, Maria Costa as the Wife, and Mark Allan Staubach as Marc Obed. The movie was filmed for the most part in Culver City, California, United States, and the production company to sign was PictureVision. However, the movie was a forgettable one with IMDb rating of  5.4\/10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
