Jodi Ann Arias, popularly known as Jodi Arias Bikini, is an American prisoner who was put behind bars for the brutal killing of her ex-boyfriend Travis Victor Alexander. Travis was an American traveling salesman and a motivational speaker for Pre-paid Legal Services who was murdered by his ex-girlfriend, Jodi, in an alleged attempt to save herself as an act of self \u2013 defense. This however, caused a lot of stir when the police department and the forensics shed light upon the reports of investigation that was conducted. Travis sustained up to 27 \u2013 29 stab wounds on his body that had completely slashed his vital organs: jugular vein, common carotid artery, and trachea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two, Jodi and Travis, started dating in 2006 and a year later, the latter was found dead in his house at Mesa, Arizona. Travis was born on July 28th<\/sup> 1977 (50 years old at death), in Riverside, California, United States, while Jodi was born on July 9th<\/sup> 1980 (42 at the time of murder) in Salinas, California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alexander and Arias started dating in the month of February, 2006 and eventually got in a relationship. Since Alexander was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter \u2013 day Saints, he urged Jodi to read the book of Mormon and she did. In a few months Jodi converted to Mormonism. Over the course of their 5-6 month relationship, they exchanged a total of about 42,000 e-mails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The relationship, however, was considered toxic by Alexander\u2019s friends and they were not wrong. After their breakup, Jodi started threatening Travis\u2019s dates and stalking him wherever he went. She even hacked into his social media accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Controversy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The case of murder of Travis Alexander only got more and more mysterious as the investigation went on. When the two broke up, they would casually meet up and even get intimate at times. They continuously ended up rekindling the fire of their sexual relationship. One day, Travis was supposed to go on a trip to Cancun, Mexico, and Jodi was to accompany him on the trip on June 15th<\/sup> 2008. He later clarified that he wanted to change his traveling companion and take another female acquaintance with him on the trip. Later on June 4th<\/sup> 2008, Travis was found murdered in his own bedroom. Jodi was arrested on July 15th<\/sup> and tried in court.
