Sarah Huang Benjamin, also known as Kitchen Hoarder, is a Singaporean chef, digital content creator, Television host, food writer, recipe consultant, emcee, social media influencer, and producer. Sarah Benjamin was born in Singapore on 16 February 1989. She is 33 years old as of 2022. She grew up in a British-Chinese-Peranakan family in Singapore. Her family was always into cooking and recipe making and her mother has been the greatest inspiration on her journey of cooking and trying out different foods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She rose to prominence on social media by sharing her videos on Facebook through her Facebook page. The one video which made her famous on social media is titled \u201cI Cook With My MOM in HOKKEN! Braised Pork Belly Recipe\u201d which was loved by her viewers on Facebook and as of today it has over 9k likes, 1.5k comments, and 7k shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After graduating with a Master\u2019s Degree in Sociology and Politics from the University of Edinburgh, Sarah began her journey as a digital content creator back in 2013. She introduced herself to the world through Facebook and Instagram. Her first post on Instagram dates back to 26th<\/sup> January 2013 and her first post on food dates back to 27th<\/sup> January 2013 with the caption \u201cOYSTERS.\u201d She kept sharing her love for food on Instagram and Facebook and later joined YouTube to share proper videos. Sarah posted her first video on YouTube titled \u201cMerry KHristmas \u2013 \u2018What a Grape Party!\u2019\u201d on 17th<\/sup> December 2016. Her videos did not do well on YouTube initially. However, it was only after her video \u201cLavender Milk Tea \u2013 Kitchen Hoarder\u201d uploaded on 21st<\/sup> July 2017, that her channel earned proper recognition. The video made 92k views and became her most popular video on YouTube. Her other popular uploads are \u201cSingapore\u2019s Legendary Bak Chor Mee Minced Meat Noodles | Send Noodz From Singapore\u201d with 87k views and \u201cHow to Make a Durian Layer Cake\u201d with 80k views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
