Marilyn Mulvey was an American opera singer, performer, entertainer, and Television personality who is best known for her performances with Danish-American musician and comedian Victor Borge. She was one of the most talented opera singers in America if not the most talented. Her performances hold a special place in the hearts of millions of people all over the world. Some of her best works are The Complete Victor Borge (1974), Victor Borge: Then and Now (1992), and Victor Borge: Then and Now III in Washington DC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marilyn Jean Mulvey was born on 6th<\/sup> September 1934 in Aberdeen, Scotland to Victor H. and Cora Martha Jean (Schott) Lorenz. She grew up with her 3 sisters and she was the second among them. The names of her sisters were Doris Arlene Davis, Donna Henning, and Beilefeld Verlynn. Marilyn used to take care of her two younger sisters like a mother growing up on a farm in Groton, Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marilyn went to Denver in 1953 where she made many friends at the YWCA (Young Women\u2019s Christian Association) and remained friends with them for the rest of her life. She began working for Aspen Airways in 1978 and continued with Air Wisconsin until 1996. She also worked at Frontier Airlines as a Maintenance Records Specialist until she retired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
